Mecha Mocap Previs

As part of my elective in Motion Capture, we given a script about the tension and build up to a Mecha Attack on a city. And given free reign on the ending.
We gathered in groups to storyboard, act out actions in Mocap, and clean up data in Cortex.

And were required to complete the rest of our work individually, fine tuning details such as hand motions and facial expressions. As well as importing all the Mocap Data into Maya and animating important props and camera angles.

I had a lot of fun creating this Previs, and I hope you enjoy the comedic twist to an otherwise dramatic scene!
